Our story
Why we are building Muslim Marriage Counselling
This platform grew directly out of the questions Muslims were already asking.
-
It began with AskMuftiOnline
AskMuftiOnline was founded on a simple mission: to make authentic Islamic guidance more accessible, so that any Muslim with a question could reach a qualified answer without barriers of geography, language or embarrassment.
-
Marriage questions kept arriving
Among the questions people brought were a great many about marriage — rights and responsibilities, conflict, in-laws, trust, separation. Many needed a religious ruling. But many others needed something a fatwa is not designed to give: someone to listen, and help untangle what was actually happening between two people.
-
A gap that needed its own home
Relationship difficulty needs time, conversation and skill, not only a ruling. It also needs discretion, because marital matters touch family reputation. That combination called for a dedicated service rather than a section of an existing one.
-
What we are building now
A modern online platform offering pre-marital counselling for those preparing to marry and post-marital counselling for couples working through difficulty — private, compassionate and faith-sensitive, with religious rulings referred to qualified scholars.
